It's been a while...

I was reading the newspaper this weekend and found myself feeling surprised when I read, 'winter is officially here'...
We have been thinking that winter was here last month! It has been really chilly and we have a lot more ice than we did last year. Tim still loves to get out and shovel the driveway and sidewalk. Me on the other hand, no thanks! We are dreaming of sunshine and warmth already.

BA-ROCK THE VOTE PEOPLE!!!!

Wow... I waited in a 31/2 hour line to cast my vote today. It was pretty amazing to see the turnout for early voting in Ohio. Everyone seemed extremely determined to wait in long, long lines... GO BARACK

Fall in Vermont...

I know, I know... I have been a total slacker with my blog (sorry Katy). Here are some photos from the annual "DM retreat" in Vermont, at the Basin Harbor Club (on Lake Champlain). It was really fun and the scenery is unbelievable.

5K BABY!!!

Katy and I ran a 5K this morning... "making strides against breast cancer." We had a great time. Needless to say, we came in 6th and 7th overall (you will have to speak with me personally to get the details as to how this was accomplished). Now we are talking about which race to compete in next...

A Fun Day With The Three Generations

My Mom and Grandma Mimi were in town this week. We had a great week... lots of shopping, dining out, cooking and a pedicure. We, of course, have to thank Papa (for always funding our adventures).

Is it almost Halloween???

I was at Target and found the perfect Halloween costume for Charlie. I caught him dragging it around today (I think he thought it was a big toy) ...so I decided to try it out. He had it on for about five minutes, ran around the house like a mad man... and as I took it off, he started to bark at it. We will see how it goes on Halloween!!

MORE GOLF

Tim and I try to go golfing together every once in a while. We live right in the New Albany Links neighborhood, so getting to a course is super easy. It is also nice to have a husband who knows what he is doing... last time I had two "pars" in a row!!!! Monumental...

Meet Susi (aka... SKOOZ)

So the story goes like this...

Tim met my Mom in 2004 and is responsible for giving her the nickname, "Scooz" (which we all love). I have to say, my Mom is a hoot. She loves her family, loves to dance and always makes us laugh. We love you Scooz.

Tim left for work around 6:30 this morning (looking sharp, good hair, the usual) and I woke up and decided to clean up our office area. As I was dusting, I began to count the number of "golf" books we own... holy crap... 58. I stopped counting downstairs (but I am willing to bet he has another 15 or so around the house). I shouldn't be suprised. I mean, this is the guy who keeps 4 clubs in the living room, has a "hitting area" upstairs and is always caught looking at his swing in the windows. I love how much he loves golf!!

Katy and Chad are expecting number THREE and she will be here on August 4th. Katy had a great baby shower last month (where she received this cute little tutu).
