opening day excitement...

The German customers were so excited to see Hollister. They waited in very long lines all day long. Check out the picture of me with the lifeguards!

first day in frankfurt

We are opening our first Hollister store in Germany. The excitement is indescribable and I have met so many wonderful people that will be working at MyZeil. This photo is from last night... we went to have a traditional German meal at the old train station.

my, my... how time flies

I was looking at pictures from a few months ago and ran across Sophie's first trip in the car seat. She was so little and her head barely hit where it was supposed to. She is three months old now and such a different baby (I think she has a lot of her Dad's personality). We are so lucky to have such a sweet little girl.

trick or treat in new albany...

we just had our trick or treat in new albany. sophie lasted about 30 minutes in her bee costume. tim and i carved pumpkins last night and we made it a point to ask all of the kids which one was their favorite (tim won)!

miss giggles...

I forgot to tell you all about Sophie's two month check up. She weighed in at 12 pounds 5 ounces (70th percentile) and she is 23.5 inches long (70th percentile). She definitely likes to eat and she has been eating much more lately. She is also sleeping well at night. Last night she slept for nine and a half hours straight (talk about happy parents!).

Oktoberfest in New Albany...

Our good friend Sanfo is in town to visit for the weekend. We took him to downtown New Albany to experience Oktoberfest. The guys had sausages from Schmidt's, kettle corn and German beer. Sanfo was pretty impressed with all of the big screens playing college football.
