Cousin Henry's Visit

Kevin, Katie and Henry made the trip out to Ohio this past week. We loved having them and it is so great to have the cousin's spend some time with each other. Henry is one month older than Sophie and he is definitely on the move. He was crawling up and down our stairs and he has started walking. Sophie was in awe of him and she watched his every move.

Friday at Chipotle and the zoo

We took everyone to the Columbus Zoo. We thought we would outsmart the crowds by making the trip on a Friday... boy were we wrong. When we pulled into the parking lot we were met by a caravan of school buses and a ton of people (not to mention the 90 degree day). Sophie was excited to see the aquarium and the new polar bear exhibit. Henry decided to take his afternoon nap during most of the zoo visit so he could wake up in time for Chipotle! There we learned the difference between boys and girls (or at least Henry and Sophie). While Sophie likes to eat one piece of food at a time, Henry likes to eat by the handful.

Mother's Day

Our anniversary, my birthday and mother's day all fall within the same week this year! I have been getting so many wonderful wishes, cards and flowers. These flowers are from Dan and Julie, Tim and Sophie... lucky me! Thanks guys.

Smoothie Obsession...

Tim makes a fruit smoothie every day. Sophie has started to really like the smoothie too... She likes them so much that when she sees Tim with the blender or a straw, she starts crying.
 
 
 

Nana's Visit

My Mom came to town for a week. We had a great time (though a week seems to fly these days)! Thanks for all of the beautiful flowers and pots... They look great.

May 1st...

My Mom is in town for a week to visit. Sophie and I are getting over a pretty nasty cold so it's "extra" nice to have my Mom here. Sophie has been waking up with some crazy bed-head lately and I made a point to take a few picks of the "do" this morning. The funny thing is that it mirrors Tim's hair in the morning, exactly! Daddy's girl, all the way. Other than the bed-head, Sophie crawled for the first time today. I kept thinking that I was excited for her to crawl... Now I'm having second thoughts and I need to get to the store so I can finish "baby-proofing" this place.
